El martes 22 de octubre, a las 12:30 h, tendrá lugar en el Plató del CITM el acto de inauguración oficial del curso 2024-2025 del Centro de la Imagen y la Tecnología Multimedia (CITM).

Tendremos el placer de contar con Michael Faust, artista, animador, director de arte y pintor, que nos hablará de su trabajo en la industria y de la creatividad en el mundo de la animación.

Faust ha recibido varios premios internacionales con su primer cortometraje de animación, Beton (2006), como por ejemplo el premio de distinción especial del festival de Annecy, Francia (2007). Desde entonces, Michael ha participado, como director de arte e ilustrador, en las películas Waltz with Bashir (2008) - película nominada a los Oscar 2009, ganadora del Globo de Oro a la mejor película extranjera y Premio del Cine Europeo - y The Congress (2013), ambas dirigidas por Ari Folman.

En 2021, Faust recibió el premio de La Academia Israelí de Cine por la dirección de arte en la película Legend of Destruction (2021). Su último cortometraje Island (2022) ha ganado el Premio Ciudad de Annecy del festival de Annecy (Francia) de 2023.
